AVE 7 House

Located in a historic building in the central district of La Seu de València, renovating and lighting this project was a challenge for the architects.

Renovating and illuminating an original 19th century house

The space conserves marble floors, Nolla flooring, wooden panelling and plaster ceilings with more than a century of history. For this reason, the architects recovered three of the spaces that were in an optimum state of conservation: the Nolla floor, the living room and the study area with paintings by Antonio Cortina.

For Casa AVE7, the lighting was meticulously chosen according to the function of each of the spaces. The kitchen, which features sober and elegant materials, achieves task lighting through Spin Fancy Shape luminaires, which focus attention on the function to be performed. To give more emphasis to this space, Black Foster luminaires were installed, with a more discreet touch, but with a penetrating light.

Our Art Modular model unites the new space with the original, illuminating the central table, which is placed on Nolla flooring in one of the rooms.

To evoke a sense of home and familiar surroundings, the Up lamp stands in a space that stands out with its original plaster decorations. It is accompanied by the Rec Slim luminaire, which emphasises this feeling through its indirect light.

Yoru. Warmth. Home.

In order to convey the warmth of the late hours of the day, the architects included the portable lamp Yoru portable lamp, as versatile as it is evocative.
