Arkoslight, doubly recognized with the Red Dot Design Award 2023

Arkoslight has once again been recognized at the Red Dot Design Awards 2023.
The award was given to Loop and Black Foster Micro Surface, in the product discipline. Both stand out as one of the best designs in the lighting category and are part of the new catalog: “News 2023 – Collection update”.
The new Black Foster Micro Surface, compact and small, becomes an attractive architectural element with a job worthy of a goldsmith and a remote power supply. It is particularly valuable on surfaces where embedding is not possible. Its anti-glare effect, common to the whole family, emphasizes its discretion and produces great visual comfort. It is also available to incorporate into the Minimal Track system.
Daring and fanciful, Loop appeals to industrial lyricism with a design inspired by electrical insulators. The protagonist of the decoration, its body is a sequence of light disks with an aluminium interior. It’s adorned by a suspended glass cylinder that acts as a fast-flowing, controlled source of projected light.

The best products of each year are awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design
In 2023, products were submitted and evaluated in 51 categories of the competition. A jury of 43 members was assembled to evaluate which of the design nominations met the criteria for a Red Dot Award based on the principles of good design and taking into account their socio-cultural character, their specific technical field and their design knowledge.
