The ‘Alaska’ product family has won the bronze award at the 2022 ADI Awards, organised by the ADI-FAD Industrial Design Association. The luminaire, designed by Rubén Saldaña, Arkoslight product director, has been selected for “the quality of its materials and the purity of its form”. This award ranks ‘Alaska’ as one of the best designs created in Spain during the last year in the Lighting category.

Alaska is part of the Delta Selection, in its 41st edition of the awards, which is positioned as the public recognition platform and for the promotion of those innovative products that propose conceptual reimagining, provide an environment awareness and for sustainability, as well as being an example of design and quality in manufacturing.

About Alaska

Alaska is a jewel of suspended light. A magical sphere of solid glass which has great visual appeal. To include this fixture in the interior design is to confer it a warm, seductive image. Its optical glass globe of great purity encloses a teardrop of light and is work of craftsmanship that is polished by hand to create a unique piece as a whole.

Its classic version is designed to complement interiors that prioritize distinction through minimalism.

Alaska Big

With a bigger size than the original, Alaska Big gains prominence in the space and emerges as a unique piece.

Alaska Trimless

For spaces where subtlety but also distinction are key, Alaska Trimless is embedded into the wall with its trimless design.

Alaska Big Trimless

The larger size of its recessed version makes Alaska an ally of the space, providing an unparalleled ambient light.

Alaska Fancy Shape

The versatility, creativity, and design of our Fancy Shape allow for the free expression of Alaska.

Alaska 24V

Alaska 24V is the contemporary reinterpretation of the classic incandescent filament bulb through technology and design.
