After conducting the necessary checks, we have resumed activity at our headquarters, confirming that our entire team is safe and that our facilities have not sustained any significant material damage.

The recent DANA storm that impacted Valencia has left many people in challenging situations, with significant damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure. In times like these, collective solidarity and support are essential. There are several ways to help those affected through organizations already working on the ground.

At Arkoslight, we aim to be a voice to ensure that the necessary aid reaches the affected population.

Red Cross

You can make a direct donation to support their efforts. The Red Cross has a platform on their website where you can contribute. Every donation helps ensure they can continue providing aid and resources where they are most needed.

Save the Children

You can make a donation through their website to support their relief programs. Each contribution will help provide food, clothing, and psychological support to children and families in need.

World Central Kitchen – #ChefsForSpain

World Central Kitchen, through its #ChefsForSpain initiative, is working in Valencia to provide hot, fresh meals to those affected by the DANA storm. You can support this initiative with a donation on their website. Each contribution will help them continue preparing and distributing food to those in greatest need in Valencia.

CTAV: Volunteer Architects

The Territorial Association of Architects of Valencia (CTAV) has launched a pool of volunteer architects to assess structural damage to affected homes. This initiative aims to support families whose homes have been damaged by providing them with a professional assessment of their property’s condition, enabling them to make informed decisions about potential repairs or reconstruction.

If you are an architect and would like to offer your help, you can join the volunteer pool.

‘Desde Valencia para Valencia’

To help those affected, you can participate in the charity dinners on December 13th, organized in Spain and other parts of the world to support self-employed individuals and small businesses damaged by the DANA in Valencia. You can also contribute through the ‘Row Zero’ starting November 7th, making a donation without attending the dinners.

All funds will be directly allocated to the affected individuals through a Valencian association.

Any contribution is valuable in helping those affected and supporting the recovery of the communities.

As Arkoslight, a company based in one of the areas most impacted by the flooding, we are fully committed to our local community. We are exploring various ways of collaboration in the medium and long term, serving as a support network for individuals and businesses directly affected. Reconstruction will be a long journey, but together, we will overcome it.
